My daughter came home from preschool yesterday asking me if I knew who Batman was. Never thought I'd see the day when she'd trade princesses for superheroes, but apparently there's a boy in her class who spent all of naptime telling her how awesome Batman is, and now she wants to see how awesome he is for herself.
I don't think I'm ready for boys. Especially boys who like Batman.

I forgot to say thank you for all the help and well-wishes we got when Lilia went missing, and I forgot to say that she's back. So. She's back, safe and happy as a clam and if anybody touches her ever again, I'll strangle you with my bare hands, and thanks for all your support. We really appreciated it.

Well, bags are packed, car's loaded - now, where's that princess of mine? If she doesn't hurry, she's gonna miss her ride to Disneyworld...

If there's one thing I don't understand in this world, it's sisters. Take mine, for example. She won't come here for Thanksgiving, so my parents and my brother are going to her, all the way in Boston. Obviously, there's a reason why my daughter calls her "mean Auntie Maggie."
And speaking of sisters - Betty, why don't you come down here for a few days? For the holiday, I mean. I'm making too much food for three people, and well, I just think it's a good idea. Think about it, okay?

Lilia's home sick from school today. Poor kid. She's a trooper, but the whole "resting" concept is just beyond her. You'd think it'd be easier to get her to sit through a few Disney movies - she's usually riveted to the TV as soon as Beauty & the Beast starts, but not today. If I didn't know any better, I'd say she was just being stubborn - and, well, maybe she is. Maybe this is just her way of fighting off sickness. Who knows.

Well, now I really need a new job.

I'm going over to my parent's to talk to my dad. Might not be home for a while, he's going to take some convincing. Maybe you and Lilia could come over later, for dinner or something? I'm sure my mom would love that.

All right, people, listen up! If you've volunteered for next week's break-in, keep reading - if not, you can read if you want to, but I don't think you'll find this very interesting. Michael's given me the distinct honor to organize and carry out this little venture, and to do that, I need you to read and respond to this post.
At the moment, we're still figuring out most of the details for the actual breaking in part, but we do know that we're going to be splitting up into three teams: Tech, Info, and Bugs. The first group will be going after any and all technology in the R&D department that we might want (including MTN stuff); the second group will be retrieving intel on CORE and other valuable information from one of the Agency director's hard drives; and the third group will be planting bugs and cameras around the building.
Here's what I need from you: your top choice(s) for what team you want to be on, and if there any conflicts you might have with one of the volunteers, so I don't put you on the same team. Also, keep in mind that when I say "choice," I mean what you think you'd do best, not what you want to do. Tech people need to know what they need to take, info people need to have a pretty advanced knowledge of computers, and bug people need to be really, really fast and sneaky. Simple, right? So let me know asap, and I'll let all of you know the rest of the details as soon as I have them all figured out.
And remember, we only have a finite amount of time to plan this, so seriously, do a man a favor and get back to me as soon as possible. In the mean time, though, thanks for listening, and keep up the good work!

Now, where exactly does one go to redeem good boyfriend points? I've got a ton stocked up, and I'm pretty sure I can't just cash 'em at the bank...

Tough day today. I took my daughter to preschool - her very first day. Got me in a weird mood, which was just exacerbated when I went to my wife's grave. I haven't been in a while.
I'm just glad my house is empty today, that's all.

About this gossip post and the Padme/Vader thing?
Just shut your fucking mouth, and stop acting like you know what's going on there, because you obviously don't.

Hell. I know my shop's high class, but why does it have to attract the most aggravating, intolerable, stuck-up snobs you can find anywhere in the art world? If I had known five years ago that legal clients were more prissy and particular than illegal ones, I never would've opened this damn store.
Could be worse, though. The war could still be going on. Thank god it's not.

Got a job tonight. This one's a little more dangerous than the last, but, Al, please don't worry. It isn't anything I can't handle, I promise.

If you had told me two weeks ago that tonight I'd have a date - and that we'd be going to Italy, of all places - I'd have laughed in your face. Probably two or three times.
But, uh... guess what.
And speaking of which, I should've left twenty minutes ago. Hell. Al's going to kill me.

So, there's this one thing I do that Gordon doesn't approve of. At all.
I'm a thief. I steal things - expensive things - for my father, and we sell them to a very select, very corrupt clientele. My specialty is antique stores and museums; they're the most difficult to break into, and, well, I'm the best my father has. I wouldn't do it if I didn't love it, but that's the thing - I do love it. More than my day job, anyway. Performing's nice, but it's only a hobby, really. The truth is, I just love to steal things.
Anybody else here a criminal? Or rather, is anybody willing to admit it?

Honestly, I... don't know what to say. When I was younger, I thought Gordon - well, I thought I just had an overactive imagination, you know? I read the comics because I could relate to Bruce Wayne, since I lost my parents and all, but I stopped as soon as I started waking up in the middle of the night thinking I was Gotham City's police commissioner. I thought I was crazy. And now you're telling me that there's a whole... community of people like me out there? This is just - quite frankly, it's too much to handle, and too much to be believed.
Believe it, Farley. And by the way, I owe you the biggest "I told you so" ever.
Good God, this is a disaster.
